Vexcel International User Group Meeting

Vexcel Imaging - a company with more than two decades of experience in photogrammetry, offering digital aerial cameras based on the latest and most-advanced technology – will host their International User Group Meeting in Graz, Austria, from November 8 -10, 2023.

This event is a great opportunity to connect with the Vexcel team and the UltraCam family, exchange ideas, and learn about their latest innovations, such as the new UltraCam Merlin 4.1. and the new UltraCam Dragon 4.1.

With the UltraCam Dragon 4.1, for the first time a RIEGL Laser Scanner, the NEW RIEGL VQ-680 OEM Airborne LiDAR Scanning Module, has been fully integrated into the system and housing of the UltraCam. This OEM version of RIEGL’s NEW VQ-680 High-End Online Waveform Processing Airborne LiDAR Scanner with Nadir/Forward/Backward-Scanning is especially designed for integration with large-format photogrammetric aerial camera systems that are configured for urban mapping applications.

In their presentation "UltraCam Dragon 4.1: Discover depth in every detail" Jan Schoderer, Vexcel Imaging, together with Peter Rieger, RIEGL Business Division Manager Airborne Laser Scanning, will present the new Vexcel system and especially talk about the advantages of the airborne LiDAR scanner integration.

Peter Rieger will also demonstrate the complete workflow from scan data acquisition to the final point cloud in the workshop “RIEGL software suite: Streamlining LiDAR workflow with RiPARAMETER, RiAQUIRE, RiPROCESS & RiUNITE” during the comprehensive program of the meeting.
