RIEGL LIS TreeAnalyzer Plugin for Single Tree Segmentation and Analysis

The RIEGL LIS TreeAnalyzer Plugin for RiSCAN PRO enables the automatic extraction of various individual tree parameters – like georeferenced tree position, tree ID, diameter at breast height, tree height, crown area, or crown diameter – from RIEGL terrestrial laser scan data and their further processing in corresponding Third-Party software packages.

Combined with the RIEGL VZ-600i terrestrial laser scanner in this video, the simplicity of the collection and outstanding quality of the data is highlighted. As vegetation becomes more impacted by climatic conditions, fast and accurate monitoring of these areas is key.
