Hydro 2023

(07.11.2023)

Hydro 2023 will take place from November 7-9, 2023 at Genoa’s Conference Centre in Italy.

The conference will bring attention to the need for hydrography in all marine activities, with a focus on marine data-driven management and decision-making. Hydro 2023 will cover four main areas: coastal resilience, sustainable underwater infrastructures, blue transition and ocean exploration.

RIEGL is supporting the event as a Sponsor.

Providing monitoring data in shallow water areas, LiDAR technology – in this special case Airborne LiDAR Bathymetry (ALB) – makes a valuable contribution to understand the processes in these sensitive environmental areas. The strengths of LiDAR technology in a hydrographic context are the collection of seamless data sets that span the land/water interface, enabling high-resolution surveying of both above and below the water surface topology with high efficiency using the broad range of high-performance topo-bathymetric laser scanners and systems, such as the RIEGL VQ-840-GL.

We would like to invite you to join the following presentation to gain an insight into the incredible mission performance of RIEGL’s topo-bathymetric sensors.
